G7 update

Hello everyone As I am sure you are aware, with the G7 event scheduled for 11th – 13th June 2021, Cornwall Council and Cornwall and Devon Police will be putting a series of road closures and security in checks in place around Newquay Airport, St Ives / Carbis Bay and Falmouth. Cornwall Council have advised us that the police have identified high risk sites where increased Kestrel Security patrols will be implemented. However, Hayle Marine Renewables Business Park, has not been identified as a high-risk site. We have also been advised that there are no scheduled road closures in the vicinity of the site. However, in the run-up to G7, the situation is under constant review by the council and the police and we recommend that you keep an eye on the Devon and Cornwall Police dedicated G7 website where further information about the event and the impact on local areas, including diversions, access and restrictions will be posted.
